Terrible business practices. Ok bagels and poor business practices. This place consistently makes me feel unwelcome and unvalued as a customer. This morning I purchased $19 worth of bagels for work (something I do regularly – more for connivence than any other reason). I then attempted to purchase a $2 cookie (yes, a cookie that cost $2!??) for my 8-yr-old that was with me but I had to use to use a personal credit card. I was asked if I had cash, but I did not. And then was refused service because they have a $5 minimum for credit card purchases. I JUST SPENT $19 there on the previous transaction. This is a place with typical individual sales of probably $6-$10 in the morning and I just spent $19. AND I COME IN THERE ABOUT ONCE A WEEK TO BUY BAGELS FOR MY OFFICE. Correction – I USED to go in there about once a week. No more. Missing the previous owners more than even – they CARED about their customers… he would have probably given me the cookie for free and been happy to meet my son.
