I do not hardly take the time to write a review because my experiences up to this point have always been exceptional.. Today I can not say the same thing. Yes the food was great it was the service that I received that i was not pleased with. When I came in for lunch I was not greeted at the bar and then when the server came with a menu I already knew what I was ordering & I asked because the bar was full could I move to a table in the same area.. I was not given an answer.. so after sitting for about 6 minutes I asked if my order would be coming to the table where I was sitting.. The server informed me that she had not put my order in because I was at a table not the bar & then I was told the order I placed could not be placed.. so i ended up getting half of what i ordered and to make things that much more disappointing.. the server was at the bar preparing to leave before closing out my bill.. which meant more of a wait.. I will say again up until today I have not had a bad thing to say however today was by far the worst.
This place is egg-cellent! (Sorry not sorry for the puns) Aside from all of the egg dishes here, the salads are good too. When I get brunch here I’ll opt to get a side of fruit instead of hash browns. The waitstaff is always good about accommodating food allergies. If you’re in the area check it out!
Eggspectation restaurant has a nice ambiance. Food is okay. Servers are nice. Had a omellete with crab meat. Omellete cooked okay, cool on the inside.
Coconut Cake. The coconut cake was awful. The icing was clearly made with vegetable shortening and not butter. At $6.99 a slice it should be made with much better ingredients. Dry and too sweet.
Great food. Glad to have this restaurant in the neighborhood! Yum yum!!!!
Overpriced but OK. Going there for Sunday brunch and waiting quite a while for a group of 6 it was pretty darn good even though it was nearly impossible to get an ICED coffee that wasn’t totally watered down. Going there for a late breakfast midweek it was disappointing. Same food was cold and their prices are ridiculous for eggs! I guess it depends when you go. Many restaurants do their best when very busy as this restaurant proved. Wouldn’t go back.
