Large Portions Aren’t Always Better. Tasteless & bland (unless you specify level of spiciness). Who knew that squid would be included in my Kung Pao Chicken order? I certainly didn’t … and it wasn’t listed on the menu either. Makes you wonder what else gets thrown into the dishes that are NOT listed in the menu.

Another Korean Experience. My wife and I have eaten at Rainpia, Shin Chon, Honey Pig and we decided to try another Korean Restaurant. Although they say its chinese Korean I didnt see any chinese dishes on the menu. Of course this restaurant as all korean restaurants do,to start they brought out kimchi, yellow radish, and onion and black bean sauce. We looked through the menu and chose two dishes.Dish one was chop chae. Chop Chae is a dish with cellophane noodles onion pork and scallions sauteed into a delightful sweet and salty noodle dish. The portion was enormous and the dish delicious. The other dish was a special called Seafood Jaengban Tchamppong. It was noodles in a spicy red sauce with sauteed squid. I was a bit disappointed that they called it a seafood dish as opposed to a squid dish although the waitress asked me if I liked squid. The squid was perfectly cooked. The tentacles pieces were slightly chewy but very good, and the meaty part of the squid was tender and sweet. This was a dish that cost 15.95 and I was told served 2. The reality is it could serve 6. I am looking forward to going back to this restaurant. It is inexpensive, delicious, and very friendlyAQnother Korean find!!

Great Korean Food. For the above reviews that say this is American Chinese-Korean food, they are completely wrong. There is NOTHING American about this place. Very authentic Korean food! This used to be me and my wife’s favorite place to eat when we lived in Ellicott city. We would go there almost every Saturday! The food is very cheap. I think the most expensive thing was like $15. We would frequently spend under 20 and would both leave with leftovers. The servings are enormous, and i have never eaten anything bad here. It is very authentic also. When you sit down they bring you Kim chi, Sweet Yellow Radishes, Onions and some black bean sauce. I’m not exactly sure what the sauce is but it taste good on anything and everything! The personnel there speak very little English and there were multiple times, especially on Sundays, that we were the only non-Korean’s there. If you’re looking for a cheap place to eat definitely try this place out! You will not regret it. BTW I believe one of our favorites was the number 36. Yes they’re all numbered because much of it you would feel embarrassed trying to pronounce unless you speak Korean.
