Consistently Good. My colleagues and I, although we can’t consider ourselves regulars given that we try to come at least 1-2 every other week, believe this is one of the better (if not one of the best places) around the Columbia/Ellicott City area. The quality of the food they provide is consistently good and portion size is very reasonable, if not generous so to speak. We recently heard about and discovered they have a side menu for authentic chinese delicacies, which we are very eager to try the next time we visit.
Bland. I have been to this place twice although I am not sure why I went back for seconds. Don’t let the reviews fool you, it happened to me twice.If you like breading, and very little chicken on your General Tso’s than this is the place for you, otherwise, choose a different restaurant.
1st trip – very impressed. I just moved to this area and decided to try out this local Chinese place. I’ve lived all over the country and have traveled in England and France and I always try the Chinese wherever I am. This restaurant is one of the best Chinese places I have ever come across! The wide selection was a welcome change from typical Chinese places. The shrimp toast app was fabulous. I also had the mussels in black bean sauce. These were the most surprising as the mussels were huge and the sauce was very flavorful. I also had the sizzling beef and scallops and they were great as well. The scallops were quite large and not at all rubbery, as I have usually found with Chinese places serving scallops. I plan to make this place a regular spot to eat out at.
Best Chinese in Howard County. Been going to this place for a looooooong time. Best Chinese food around. All entrees are great. No one can touch the hot and sour soup.
Best in Howard COunty. Out of all the chinese restraunts i’ve eaten at in Howard County, Hunan Legend ranks number 1 on my list. The service is great, carry out wait is so short, and the food is just delicious. I highly recommend this restraunt to anyone.
Worth the drive. This place is a 30 minute drive for me. With that said, It is the best chinese restaurant in the Baltimore area. Tammy runs a great restaurant. The problem with most chinese places is you basically have a choice of the same 5 dishes with the meats and or sauces switched. This is not the case here. Each dish has it’s own flavor. Try the crispy beef or the plum chicken. The appetisers are amazing. I could eat the BBQ ribs and skip the entree. Great pan fried dumplings. both veggie and pork. I have driven 60 miles round trip just for carry-out! Very attentive staff, call first for wait.
