Nice lunch. Lunch at Lee Lynn’s is a relaxed affair. It is a good place to spend a few hours, although I’m sure you could get a quick meal as well. Tasty appetizers, a nice selection of salads and sandwiches, yummy soups and interesting specials. I like a bit of spice with my chickpeas, but other than that, the meal was beyond fault. Service could be a bit more attentive, but is not out of the ordinary for a casual lunch on the patio.
Second Chance – FAILURE. I had not been back to Lee Lynn’s since my last encounter in May. My friend suggested we go because she has a relative that is working in the kitchen. We got to the restaurant and ordered drinks and apps. (cosmos, light on the cranberry) When the drinks came, they were bright red and very sweet. We sent them back and ordered something else. Next thing we know, a woman comes out and says they are not going to serve us.. and didn’t the owner tell me not to dine there? I told her that I was told I couldn’t return food and she said that since we returned drinks that we were not welcome. As I was leaving, another patron made a comment to me about the drinks not looking like they were properly made and I told her, yes they were not good and because we tried to return them, we were asked to leave. I was willing to give Lee Lynn’s a second chance, but true to form, they even screwed that up.18 May, 2011Owner told me to go somewhere else. I have been going to Lee Lynn’s since I moved to the area almost 2 years ago. Over the last 6 months, I have been there at least once a week. The food was usually really good, but not always consistent. I have sent back a steak for being over cooked, mussels for being spoiled, and a pasta dish that included bell pepper when it shouldn’t have. The last time I was at the restaurant, the owner came out and told me that I couldn’t return any food anymore. (regardless of what is wrong with it) He suggested that I go somewhere else that was more consistent with their quality of food. So, that is what I suggest everyone else should do as well… go somewhere else!26 Mar, 2010The jury is still out. I’ve gone to Lee Lynn’s on numerous occasions since moving to the area and I still am not sure if I like it. The food is very overpriced and nothing that spectacular. I do like the crab cake, but I only get the sandwich (without the bun) and not the platter because of price. I have tried many of the apps (small plates) and they are OK, but nothing that really stands out. I will agree with other reviewers that the service is not good. So, I like a couple of the items they have, but if I didn’t live very near it, I wouldn’t make the trip.
