Decent but more bad then good. Didn’t get the appetizers I ordered, that or they have changed samosas from dough to philo. The beef kabob was over cooked and mushy, not to mention the quality of the beef was horrible. I would not go back after this experience.
Just OK. This is not the best Kabob place I’ve been to, but it isn’t the worst either. I won’t drive miles out my way to return, but if I’m in the area I wouldn’t be adverse to returning.First of all, this place is mostly a take-out place. If you are going to eat in it appears that you will have to wait a little while. There aren’t that many seats anyway. I would not recommend that you go here to eat in.When I arrived for dinner the place was pretty much empty, but they were very busy putting together take out orders. They cook all the food to order, so this is not fast food (which is a good thing). My samosas appetizer came out fairly quickly, but it did seem to take a while for the entree lamb kabob to come out. All the food was cooked properly and the lamb was not dried out. I like my food a little spicier, but it wasn’t bland either. I guess it was good flavor for the masses.
The chicken kabobs are amazing and the price is very reasonable for what you get. Don’t sleep on the rice as it is delicious and well seasoned.
I had to wait 30 minutes for a chicken wrap. It tasted fine but it definitely is not worth the wait. Awful awful awful. Never coming to this time drain again. I hope they go out of business.
Kabobs. Great chicken kabobs – juicy and flavorful. A friend got a non-kabob dish and wasn’t excited about it. He wished he’d gotten kabobs instead. After all, it is a kabob place.
Good…..easily could be great. Ate here for the first time the other night when we had a kabob craving. Got the kofta plate and chicken kabob plate. Both meats were VERY flavorful but both were also a tad too dry. If they can manage to keep them moist, they’d have been wonderful. The rice has a great flavor and the platter came with fresh salad that could have had a bit more flavor. It was too lightly dressed. The bread was nice and warm and fresh, although one of us found it a bit thick, describing it like a pizza with no toppings. Overall, good food and the folks who worked there were friendly. Call ahead cause they get busy!
Samosas are great. I forgot to say in my main review that the samosas are very spicy, but if you like spicy things, these are worth trying as they are fresh and yummy.and the flat bread, roti, is really good. it is served hot and freshly made and is delicious when eaten right away. (after about 5 minutes it starts to get hard and cold so eat quickly!)17 Sep, 2010Inconsistent. 3 great meals, 1 terrible meal. Had the same things each time. The terrible meal was terrible as the kabobs were over-marinated and the meat had become gelatinous on the outside.so i voted i liked it as the first 3 meals were great. delicious tender beef, lamb, and chicken kabobs in 3 of 4 visits.i am a carnivore, but i have to say that the veggie platter was spectacular! who knew pumpkin and garbanzo beans could be made to taste so good? I would not have ordered this even on a dare, but my sister got this and I tasted it, and it gets a big thumbs up from me.also, the people are very nice. be aware the seating area is very small, and every time i’ve been there it has been packed.
