Yummy Salsa. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. We’ve been going here for a couple of years now.The salsa is so unusual! It tastes like gazpacho, love it.Good queso dip. They have no problem feeding us vegetarians.
It is what it is…Tex-Mex. It is a pretty decent Tex-Mex restaurant. When compared to other places like this one, they are pleasantly conservative with the amount of cheese. The food was tasty, well seasoned. The fresh salsa was also good. The staff were friendly. Only downside, a tad on the pricey side for what it is.
I have gone to Mi Casa so many times, they have my order down before I get a peep out. They have some of the best Mexican food in the state. If your looking for friendly service, great food, and a quick serve then I highly recommend Mi Casa.
It’s ok. I always high hopes about Tex mex and normally I am disappointed. Few places have ever hit the mark with innovated flavors that are fresh and memorable. I went for basics. Tamale and chili relleno. If they can provide something great with the simple ingredients then they win. Well they lost. Not that it was bad. Just not good. The sauce made everything taste like spicey over pured tomatoes. The tamale (homemade does not mean microwaved) was tough and chewy. I did like the batter used for the chili. In the end I will stick to my taco trucks for my texmex fast food and my search continues.
Chips were stale/old. Vegetable enchiladas were OK. At least they were spicy.
Basic, but good. MiCasa is not the largest, busiest or most innovative Mexican restaurant in town, but we still have a soft spot for it. It does the Mexican basics consistently well, and the service is usually quick and friendly. It’s a comfortable spot for a casual meal.
