First time for Afghan food with family. Was a little hesitant since my 11 and 14 year old boys are a little picky. Even my wife’s not so adventurous. Well, we entered the small bistro and went to the counter. Not too busy on a Friday (2/27/2015) evening. We ordered chicken kabobs and beef kabobs that also came with a tasty rice, tandoori bread, salad and yogurt chutney. I loved it. Spicy but not too hot. The boys were very wary and didn’t eat much. The wife liked it ok, but she’s not much for spicey. Now the kicker. The next day the boys thought they would try the large portions we brought home. They heated it up in the microwave and, guess what? They loved it. Everything was eaten up in one sitting. Go figure.
