We ordered the Trio sampler and Nora’s famous Chicken Kabob. The trio sampler was good. I am not much of an Eggplant person but Mirza Ghasemi was good. The Kabob, to be honest, it wasn’t bad but I don’t understand why ‘that’ Chicken Kabob got so ‘famous’. Fairly good ambiance but not too much room for a lot of people. As in a small seating. On a Sunday evening, we had to wait in line for 30 mins at least (probably more). foodiemuggles.com
Lovely Surprise. Nora’s is small and pretty. You can dine in or take out. Three of us dined in. You can order small plates or regular-sized platters. No matter what else you choose, you MUST get the Shirazi Salad — cucumber, red onion, tomato, and fresh herbs, all chopped fine. It’s by far the best salad I’ve ever had — all of us agreed. We order tzatziki and warm pita wedges. We agreed that the tzatziki was not as good as others we’ve had — but it was good and fresh. I ordered a mezze of coconut shrimp, crispy, tasty, served with a spicy sweet sauce. I loved it. The others got lamb gyro and falafel wrap, respectively. Both said their choices were excellent and each took half of hers home. Both choices came with pasta salad. One in the party got a small Greek salad, which was very large. Besides the usual vegetables, it had a nice-sized wedge of feta on top. One of us got a cannoli for dessert. The shell had been dipped in chocolate and was filled upon order so it didn’t get soggy. The filling was perfect. Another got baklava, which was not dripping with syrup and not as sweet as one might be used to. The plate was garnished with extremely tart pomagranate syrup. I was the only one who ordered alcohol — mango white sangria, also delicious. I don’t have anything negative to say about the food or the service. Our waiter suggested that next time we try the kabob, which is, after all, their specialty.
Really good fresh food I will return
Great greek food, at very reasonable prices. The dining area is small, but the service was still good.
Good Eats!. We had the Lamb and Beef kabob lunchs with rice, stuffed grape leaves, hummus and shirazi salad.Everything was very tasty.
