What great service and food. I was in to Player’s last night and I haven’t seen much like this before. Everything I have to say is opposite every experience to the old establishment, Mangias, so thank you to whoever runs the show now, keep it up. I will start with our server, semara, she was attentive, knowledgeable, and quick to get us everything, and always smiling. The food was incredible. I started with a stuffed avocado… amazing I then got the salmon goat cheese salad which did not disappoint at all. My friend had the Crab Mac N Cheese and she couldn’t say enough good things about it. I have been sold on a new local spot. Must needed changes have been made and I have a new local restaurant to go to with confidence. Thank you new management for fixing what was wrong for so many years. We will be back and I will tell all my friends.
Player’s Bar & Grill is a great place!!!. I went to Player’s Bar & Grill for the first time on Thursday night with a friend and liked the new atmosphere the moment I went in. The hostess who greeted me was very nice, and answered my questions regarding several of the dishes that were on the menu. She recommended the crab nachos as a starter, which I got. While they weren’t loaded with crab meat, they were delicious and seasoned perfectly. I would definitely order them again. I also got the salad with grilled salmon, which was wonderful. The fish was so moist and tender (and hot off the grill), the salad greens were crisp and fresh. It was a generous portion. I’d also like to mention that the prices were reasonable. The menu had a good variety. The servers were attentive and friendly. The dessert, which was a cannoli, was also delicious! There’s nothing negative to say about this place. I can’t wait to go there again to try more things on the menu! Good riddance to Mangia’s, (which I was never impressed with), and HELLO TO PLAYER’S!!!!! I’m so happy that this is a great place to go that is right around the corner from my house!
Fantastic – Don’t confuse Player’s with the former restaurant Mangia’s!!!. I visited Player’s last night for the 2nd time, and it was just as fantastic as my 1st visit. I never cared for the former restaurants at this location but was persuaded by a friend to give Player’s a chance. The menu and food are greatly improved. The food qualtity is excellent. Last evening, I had the crab nachos and the salad with goat cheese & grilled salmon. Both were delicious! My friend was equally impressed with her food. My husband and I really loved our food on our 1st visit. The staff are great – everyone from the young woman that greeted us, our wait staff Lexie & Ilana (sorry if I have the spelling of her name wrong!), to the manager that kept a constant eye on the dining room and made sure everything was up to par. The attention to detail is very evident. They have TV’s in the dining room, along with quite a few in the bar area. This is the perfect place to hang out during a Raven’s game or other sports event. At the same time, it was perfect for an evening just to hang out with a friend and talk. This is definitely a place to check out.
Great Sports Bar. They have like 30 big ass TV’s, and you can watch sports outside. The food is delicious and they have good prices. My favorite is the Beer Tower and Wing special for Football games. Very cool place, with great service too.
Great lunch. Tried Players Grill which took over Mangia’s and loved the shrimp po boy and home made potatoe chips. Live music Friday night, awesome outside bar, nice people. Give it a try.
I hear many negative comments from our community and neighbor. I hear only few positive and arevage comments that’s all. CAUTION: Italian Grill and Sports Cafe is shutdown and changed to Player restaurant. I have heard better comments, and I love their shrimp pizza! Most of my friends loves their shrimp pizza! Their price is very reasonably.
This clearly is not Mangia anymore. The place is clean and the food is great. Our server was Kara and she was incredible. Very knowledgeable about the place and was very happy to take care of us. Thanks for closing Mangia cause you were well replaced.
