The staff doesn’t care that you are there. They are college students who want you to go away so they can go back to doing homework. We were not welcomed. They don’t accept debit or credit cards. The window between the customer and the cashier is awkward if you’re taller than 5’11. They also do not serve mint chocolate chip ice cream. Yes they give you a lot of ice cream for the money, but it’s mediocre. If you want quantity over quality this place may be for you.
OVERLOAD ICE CREAM!!!. I always eat there since I was a little girl. Now, I love to bring my seven cousins to Soft Stuff because it is CHEAP and my cousins loves it! I don’t mean that i am sound cheap buck. I’m teenager and i haven’t a real job, of course. However, if i buy small vanilla with cone and it is will look like a large size! Taste perfect, not too sweet, smooth, perfect creamy. BUT…… they are not open during winter time. They are open only summer, spring, and fall (Not sure).

I tried the chocolate custard with some banana custard on top. The flavors were mild, and refreshing. The dairy custard base is the key here, it makes everything else work. I highly recommend this place. Their prices are very good, servings are generous. The motel they are attached too is closed, but there is a lot of room so you can sit down near by and enjoy your desert. I actually ate here then had a pit beef down the road after wards.

I absolutely love this place! The ice cream is delicious and not pricy at all. The staff is nice and they provide a sitting area for you.
