Tried to make a simple reservation for 12 people. Katie and John acted like it was an application for a job. Not a pleasant experience. I had to repeat my information 3 times. There are 6 other fine dining restaurants we can take our out of town business teams to. We went with the Milton Inn and then the following night to Fazzini’s. What happened, we use to use Barrett’s all the time. Not any more…..
Disappointing. Party of 6. Went there on Saturday, early, 5pm so kitchen has no excuses — like being swamped with orders. Special $11 martini was just so so. My scallops on risotto tasted bitter. Bitter? Another person had the salmon. Horrible. Over cooked so much that she could barely eat it. The prime rib was not tasty either. What happened? We went there so I could enjoy a birthday dinner with my family and not worry about cooking. I probably should have cooked. Bill in excess of $250 and not at all worth it. I prefer to eat at locally owned restaurants but I won’t be going back to Barrett’s.
