I had the displeasure of dinning at Fazzinis on a Friday night with a large group. Our waitress was good and attentive, but the food was mediocre and the management and owner were awful. I have never been treated at an establishment the way I was treated tonight. Now I know why the restaurant had numerous tables open on a Friday night.
I consider Fazzini’s a slightly more upscale Olive Garden. I am sure people, especially the owners and management would disagree, but that is the most accurate description I can think of. Don’t get me wrong, I do like Olive Garden. It is obvious they want to give off the sense that thisis a little family run restaurant but they are just not and the food is not the classic Italian cooking. That doesn’t have to be a bad thing though. The staff is hit or miss, someare great others only reinforce the Olive Garden feel. I also would say I prefer OG’s bread sticks. All in all, the food is pretty good, the atmosphere is okay, and the staff is not bad.
Don’t bother going here, nasty manager, high prices !. Cream of crab soup was watered down, and hardly any crab in it, which I suspect was canned crab meat. 12 inch pizza plain pizza was $13.00 and one portion of lasagna was $18.00. Bread was ok, but the olive oil tasted like cooking oil !!! Very expensive, and very ordinary.
