Great atmosphere. Stopped in for a quick bite. Got a full course meal instead. My server (Denise) made be feel at home. Food was good drinks were great. Will make a stop back asap
Great lunch. Denise was our server and couldn’t of asked for anyone better. She new the menu and made great suggestions. Crab cakes and chicken Chesapeake sandwich were excellent
Hadn’t been in probably 4-5 years. The space is nicely done with lots of room. Good mix of people as well. We sat in smaller dining room area. Calamari was good. Our Server was friendly. I ordered a crab cake sandwich. It was good, maybe a tiny overpriced though @$15.50. Pappas’ crab cakes are better and slightly bigger for about $13-$14. Friend had the stuffed shrimp and she said it was very good. Overall, 4 out 5 stars!
Drinks are way better than the food. Clams casino gritty and chewy. Chicken noodle was only missing the soup. Maybe a chef would help.
Orioles Haters! Don’t go here!. Any true Orioles fan should not give this place business. They had the nerve to turn off the O’s game 2-2 against Tampa in the 3rd and turn on a South Carolina v Texas A & M college football game (that wasn’t even close). Everyone at the bar was watching the Orioles and Ravens preseason game and protested but because three old heads that wanted the college football game on all of a sudden walked in and graced the bar with their presence the manager changed it for them. I am disgusted, disgraced, and outraged that this bar exists in the heart of Birdland. Do not go here! We do not need bars in this town that don’t support our birds. They don’t care about us so don’t give them your hard earned money. I hope their bad juju doesn’t jinx the os but Tampa has just scored two runs so I guess it did. My anger could lead to a 200 page dissertation on the scumbaggery of Michaels and the manager that did this, but I would rather watch the O’s in peace in an establishment that supports our team. Michaels hates the Orioles and you just don’t mess with the O’s… And in first place… And at the end of August… And the Skankees already lost…. And they’re playing Tampa… Take your bad vibes Michaels and stick it. Boycott this place O’s fans. They hate the Orioles. Do anything you want. Give me bad service. Overpriced food, but don’t mess with the O’s!
Micheals poor service. What kind place charges 2 .00 for oysters on 1 side of in side bar then charges 1.00 on patio bar 25 feet away . Go to patio bar no service . Pulled pork no good
FYI, don’t go to Michael’s Cafe on York Rd in timomium. We made reservations for 8pm and arrived 15 minutes early but we weren’t seated until 815pm. We were served food on a dirty plate and something was stuck to the glass of water. 14 years ago I was crazy about this place but not now. Unfortunately dinner was poor as well.
