What Happened?. I have loved Outback for a long time, but the last two times I have been I went to the Hunt Valley location. Service was ok, not much better than so so. The food though has dropped off. The steaks were bland and overcooked. By the time the server checked back, I my wife or I didn’t want to wait for another set of steaks to be cooked. Time to try somewhere else.

The Hunt Valley location is synonymous with consistency. Great value for the money. I love the 6 oz Outback Special and choice of 2 sides. My favorites are chopped salad with pecans and blue cheese with a loaded baked potatoes. It is a complete meal for a low price, cheaper than making it myself. Service is always great and Proprietor, Craig is always welcoming and visible to new and returning customers.

Outback Issues. Outback is known for their steak but for some reason I could never get a good one there. I have gone several times over the years, but this past time last month takes the cake. It took them five times to get it wrong again–and I finally had to give up. I asked for a medium well and they brought it to me bloody every time. The wasted the steak too. All they had to do was throw it on the fire for a minute more–but instead they would have me cut open a new steak each time. I gave up just in frustration and ate a piece of meat with no seasoning that tasted like they had microwaved it–How I wish for a Hoss’s Steak house here in MD. They have gottten it right every time.

This is probably good for the meat & potatoes crowd who love their steaks, but the seafood dishes just aren’t very good. I tried the salmon this time – it came overcooked – in fact the edges were burnt to a crisp – not much taste. Lackluster sides. I tried the tuna last time I was here & that wasn’t thrilling either. I only go here to please my steak friends, so I wish I could find something edible. Vegetarians, stay far away!

Been to better. Service was seriously an issue at this place. I bought gift cards and thought I was supposed to get some sort of bonus card for purchasing more than $200 but I never recieved them. I think I even saw the hostess put some cards in her pocket. I used to like going there but I’m not sure if I will return. I realize they will always have customers beating down there door. but this left a bad taste in my mouth. When I asked the young brunette about my bonus she said that that promotion didn’t start yet. I just checked the website…it started a while ago. god I’m a sucker. Good bye to the down under

Pleasantly Surprised. We ate there Sunday and will be back. I had the sirloin with sweet potato and salad. Steak was moist and tender beyond expectations. Love the sweet potato with honey and brown sugar…just the right touch.Partner had the wood grilled pork chop with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes and it was unbelievably moist with a great smoke flavor. Side were great. Had the newest vanilla ice cream with cinnamon croutons for dessert. This was not what we expected. Should have had the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under. Service was great.Highly recommend this one!

AMAZING. I have always had great experiences at Outback steakhouse. The service is great, the food is great(expecily the onion rings and the newyork strip or sirloin). The waiters are very friendly and always very nice to tam to. I give outback steakhouse in huntvally Maryland a 9.8 out of 10formy overall experience.
