We thought we were a decent table. But apparently the staff will just go to other restaurants and talk bad about you. So I guess waiting tables is to difficult for some people. I will not return

We Will Return. Ate in theTimonium Ryleigh’s last night. Was crowded and noisy, but had a pleasant atmosphere none the less. We had Maine mussels – excellent flavor, no sand, tender and delicious. Excellent oysters, sweet and tender, would definitely order again. The Shrimp and Grits was a HUGE disappointment. Tasted like shrimp with Italian marinara sauce served over underdone grits. Go online guys and get a decent recipe, This can be such a delicious menu addition if done correctly. Our server was very attentive. We got our $ back on the Shrimp and Grits,

Awful food. All of the food was mediocre, and the fried oysters were inedible largely due to the mound of salt they were on. Service was good; Erin was our server. But the rest of the experience was pathetic. Will never return.

First time at Ryleigh’s. And will be my last. First, I will address the environment. Sterile looking backroom dining area. Drab open space, incredibly noisy. I had a great deal of difficulty conversing with the party I was with, without feeling like I was shouting. This could have been overlooked if my meal had been good. As far as the food went. It was soft shell crab week, and I was looking forward to a delicious soft shell crab sandwich. The crab was anemic and served on rye bread, huh? It was advertised that it would come on white bread but they made an unrequested switch. It tasted greasy, as did the fries that came with the order. Neither the fries nor the crab sandwich were hot, just lukewarm. I forgot to mention that I order the Maryland crab soup as an appetizer. The soup, to the restaurant’s credit, was very flavorful. However it was mostly broth with very little vegetables in it, and less crab. I couldn’t wait to get out of the place, and I can’t tell you how foreign a feeling that is for me. Ryleighs, gets a 2/10 for me

Poor selection. I love oysters, and they do have a huge area dedicated for oyster eaters, but I’m the only one in my small group that likes them. The regular menu sucks. Food wasn’t that great, service was ok when we first got there, then disapeared. We wanted to stay have have a night cap, but we couldn’t get our server, so we went next door to Fives!
