The food is so good, great little quaint spot to eat, love the service. It’s crowded all the time but you still get your food in time. I don’t like the fact that they close at 2:30pm.

It’s worth is well told by the amount of crowd it has all the time, but despite that fact, you will not have to wait for too long and the food will be worth waiting for.

Hidden Gem. Are you looking for good food and service at a reasonable price? Well, my friends, look no more. The Side Street Cafe is a hidden gem. It is tucked back in the building that was next to the old distillery that collapsed a couple of years ago. Walk up the building ramp and step into a charming cafe with lots of artwork and bric-a brac. The food is absolutely delicious. The waitstaff is attentive and the prices are reasonable. I visited there today and had the cheeseburger. It was cooked exactly as I had ordered it. The french fries were steak fries and they were crispy with absolutely no grease. My companion had the turkey rachel sandwich and he gobbled it down with nary a complaint. This was my second visit and I will be making a third next week. Going to try one of their soups and a dessert on my next visit. Don’t miss out!

Took my oldest out to lunch yesterday at The Side Street Cafe. We both enjoyed our meals. My Hot Italian sub was served with a cup of cream of asparagus soup, side salad, pasta salad and potato chips all for $8.95! The soup was outstanding as was the sub. We will be back soon!

This Cafe is the best kept secret in town. I’ve never had a bad meal here. They are more than accommodating and the friendliest staff ever. I’m constantly bringing my clients here and they love it as well. You might think you are walking into a dump due to its surrounding but I know you’ll love it. Enjoy.
