Yuck. Service was non-existent. Food was the worst I have had, and it made me wish I could time travel and not make the decision to walk in. Seemed packed with people, but honestly I have no idea why. I asked to have a suggestion from the server, she said the crab pretzel, which was mostly mayonnaise and cheap cheese. Just disgusting. I actually wished for the savory flavones of a cold MRE because that would have been preferable! I have eaten grubs in survival training that tasted better than that crab thing. Never will I subject myself to this place again unless I need to torture someone by forcing them to eat the food.
I ate here based on the reviews. I just left the restaurant, as a matter of fact. We ordered the fried pickles (very tasty), the nachos (pretty OK), and their signature sour beef and dumplings. I’m sorry, but that was really disgusting. I don’t have any other way to describe it. It was actually sickeningly SWEET, of all things! It’s a plate full of brown, sweet beef gravy (I couldn’t identify the flavors but it was definitely not palatable to me), a couple of pieces of beef, and a potato dumpling that was the consistency of a doughy mashed potato ball. I honestly could not believe this was one of their signature dishes! I put it all in a takeout container, which I plan to give to feed to the trash can if I can’t successfully rinse that horrible gravy off the meat. It also left a bad taste in my mouth (good thing the hubby had mints in the car!) Though I would give the restaurant another shot, I could NEVER recommend the sour beef and dumplings. Do yourself a favor: Try something else!
Everything tastes like it came out of a bag you could get a giant. All it has going for it is cheap beer at happy hour.
Siver Mining Company. Love the Crab Cakes!!!!! A lot of crab and a small amount of breading. They are large too! But why oh why do they give you the Ken’s Cocktail Sauce–oooh! I’ll have to start bringing my own Crosse & Blackwell. If you can’t provide decent cocktail sauce at least try to make your own, but please give up those stupid little packs of nasty goo.

Very nice profesional resteraunt, nice owners.. This is a very nice restaurant with professional staff. My mom treated me to dinner here. I am 1/8 native American and Silver Mining restaurant serves delicious, properly cooked American Buffalo from the nearly Bison trading company. The Restaurant has a western theme and the owner spent money to have heavy timbers framed in the building with steel plate and stainless steel reinforced lag bolts. Also reinforced with 4 inch threaded iron pipe. Outside the concrete is treated concrete treated to have timber textures. I peeked int he kitchen. No illegal mexicans working here. Professionally trained cooks fresh from cooking school. And since the owner personally took time to thank me for eating at his restaurant and Im not only part native American, I am a from a founding heritage American family, I am taking time to write this review.
