My family and friends went to Vaccaro’s, spent 15$, and sat in the restaurant to eat our gelato on a hot day with our two sleeping infants at 4 in the afternoon when the restaurant was empty. We were asked to leave by the teenage wait staff since we bought the gelato to go. Lack of appreciation for customers will make us avoid this restaurant in the future.
You can’t go wrong. You can’t go wrong with any or the sweet treats in this store. My favorite are the cannolis, but everything I have tried here has been so delicious and sweet, I recommend everything.
The cookies at Vaccaros Italian pastry are pricy but they make up for it by being so good. You can taste the quality ingredients used in the desserts, they are so buttery and delicious. I also enjoyed the coffee.
Don’t tell Grandma. Love this place! I’m italian and for years struggled through bland, regular italian desserts and pastries by family and other pastry shops. I was ready to write off italian desserts for good but then I ran into Vaccaro’s for the first time and grabbed a cannoli and cheesecake and I knew I would be coming back over and over again. Which turned out true, now being through almost all the items on show I can tell you can’t go wrong. But pastries aren’t the only thing to flip over when you visit vaccaro’s, TRY THE GELATO, had to put it in caps because its prob. the best I have ever had. And if you need a flavor to run with go no further than strawberry. So if you have a sweet tooth or just have one right now, RUN to Vaccaro’s, best italian dessert spot in the city but don’t tell grandma their better than her’s.
Overpriced, Stale Cookies. Way overpriced! They don’t even bake the items on site. If I’m going to Vaccaro’s, I’ll go to the one in little italy, not a satelite store. Most of the cookies are stale by the time they sell them.
Good stuff!. I didnt know one open here and it isnt listed on their website. So I eagerly headed in (there was a nice size line) and got an Amaretto Tiramisu. It was yummy! It was smooth and very flavorful. My only complaint about it is I would have liked it a bit colder! adventuresbaltimore.com
