Poor Customer Service. On July 5th, 2013, I brought my dog to their outdoor patio for lunch. This location does not allow dogs on the patio, which is fine. HOWEVER, as waitstaff informed me of this, I was looking at a small white dog (not identified as a service dog in any way) sitting with some customers on their outdoor patio. When I asked about that dog, the waitstaff informed me that the dog had been allowed by the manager. This is discrimination, unprofessional, and poor business practice.
Always hopping, I’ve only been a few times. I want to like it more. The food was good and worth the effort to keep exploring the menu. Service was slow for us each time. Just enjoy the dim lighting and cool people around you, and your tablemates of course. Don’t worry that the slightly disturbing ceiling art will fall into your plate.
Brilliant food, excellent quality and staff. What a super place. A must for everyone. Don’t miss this place!
Loved it!. Great place to meet with good friend and it is bigger than the Busboy and Poets on 14th street in DC. I enjoyed a great brunch with longtime friends and the the food was really good. No complaints here. We will definitely come back!
Near College Park. In town on a College visit.Tired of the usual restaurants. Had a great meal and enjoyed friendly service and creative dishes at Busboys and Poets. Great sauces and dressings, and plenty of choices for a variety of appetites. Next time I was told I should try the shrimp and grits! (chat in the restroom tip from another diner!) Nice casual and welcoming atmosphere…..and in warmer weather the patio is great too!
Great place. Nice people, chill music and good healthy food. Bloody Mary was good and spicy. Low cost meal
