A Substantial Slice. Note to Ravens fans: this NY pizzeria has a definite Steel Town vibe as the memorabilia on the wall announces the loyalties of the owner. Once you are past that graba couple of slices and soda for under five bucks and you will leave happy. They do offer a deal for discounted movies tickets with purchase, so the line will be longer. Go for a birch beer (like root beer) and life gets better. The only disappointment was the side salad was only lettuce, tomatoes and onions. There is enough to share and the homemade Italian dressing is very good. One other onion note: they are diced before being added to the pizza, this cuts down on the bite and allows the mellowness to contribute to the fun. Like any great party that ends up in the kitchen, its noisy, bright and I can’t wait to go back.
New York Pizza. Very dissappointed with the Sorrento Pizza which we ordered. Pizza is very bland. No taste . Not any where close to what is described as the Best Pizza. It was the worst pizza for the price of $. 19.21. Very poor Quality, Taste, appearance and value for the money.
Friendly, but bad pizza. I’m not really sure why this place is getting such rave reviews, maybe the other food is good, but this was the worst pizza dough I’ve ever had. I literally took a fork and just ate the cheese and pepperoni off the top. It left a terrible taste in my mouth causing me to eat something else afterwards to cover it up. Definitely needs to be changed!
Very consistent. Friendly atmosphere. Grilled chicken salad is a winner. Great white pizza. Steak and cheese is the real deal. Pittsburgh style all the way
Love it, I always go there, clean, fun nothing bad, go there, I ve got games
Great food!. I’ve eaten pizza all over this country, and let me tell you, this is some fine pizza. Cheesesteaks that are as good as any you can get in Philadelphia (although they call them steak and cheese – the owners obviously aren’t from Philadelphia). And then you can get discounted movie tickets for the movie theater *right*next*door*!
Salt, anyone?. Can someone at Giuseppi’s please explain why they don’t use any salt in their pizza dough? This makes their pizza crust so flavorless it ruins what could have been a great experience. I had two slices of their pizza last Saturday with 3 toppings: artichokes, spinach and mushrooms. The crust was a nice consistency, crisp and perfectly baked. But since it was flavorless no amount of cheese or any other topping would make up for the lack of salt. Such an easy fix and yet nothing is done about it. Go figure.
