This restaurant was SO good. I would recommend it to all my friends and family. The wings and sweet tea couldn’t have been better. It was also very affordable. We received amazing service and the atmosphere was really cool inside. Eat here. 🙂

I Like Mine All the Way Wet. I don’t want to argue with my friends from Cincinnati about whether Skyline is better than Hard Times. It is. Nor do I consider the offering in Rockville, Clarendon or Alexandria to compare to Rancho Casi in Terlingua. However, here in the DC area on most occasions these chili are enjoyable examples of the classic styles served by friendly staff at what used to be a ridiculous price accompanied by the dulcet tones of Patsy and Hank. The preludes like pepper poppers and onion rings aren’t heart friendly but perfect for the experience. The beer list while diminished is still better than the average bar. All in all the Rockville, Clarendon and Alexandria locations of Hard Times are the best chili parlors we have here in the area.
