This is such great Peruvian food literally the best in the metro area. I have been coming here since they first opened and it is always a great experience. I love the decor and the food it to die. You can’t go wrong here. The new menu is great!
Fantastico! First time there. We found it to be a great place on every level. The decor transports you to a truly authentic locale, intimate yet bustling. The food was exceptional from the bread to the calamar to the bisteca. Great experience all around!!

Excellent!!!!!!. I heard that Peru was a country with one of the best gastronomy. It is true, go to to La Canela is a really good adventure. I recomend it, my family and I had a very nice experience, the food is incredible….. delicious!!!

One word..EXCEPTIONAL. It seems like all the other reviewers have said it already but the food is great. The chuleton, the pollo, everything (that I have tried). The staff is friendly and welcoming an the setting is romantic and different (in a good way). Perfect for a date and any other celebration. Prices are good and affordable and i assure you you will leave satisfied and definitely come back. I just went to thier sister restaurant Carbon (right down the street next to Giffords) if you like la canela you will love carbon, it is peruivian rostiessre chicken heaven.
Fantastic. I first came here a few months ago and ever since I come at least every other week. The food is simply DIVINE!!! The setting is umbelievably wonderful ( an arrangent i have never seen before) i must this place was wonderfully constructed. If that wasn’t enought, the food is to die for! The same owners have just opened a new restaurant right down the street, i cannot wait to try. I highly recommend. Only thing that might add is extra menus, they seem to run out often during the weekends. That must mean something! also, make a reservation there is usually always a wait. worth it!
