Bad Service!. I was very happy when my husband found this filipino restaurant at first BUT very dissapointed when he have told me that the people who works there were very rude! My husband is caucasian so when he told me that I was embarrass afterwards. This place makes filipino people looks bad! If you guys don’t want to serve people like you’re suppose to them I suggest you close your bussiness. Shame on you guys!
Once great, now forgettable. I used to travel from Arlington all the way out to Gaithersburg to eat here … it was good food back in 2007. Nowadays though the only thing they cook fresh is the Lechon Kawali, but now you get 4 pieces for $10, which is not a good deal. The food has slowly deteriorated, and sadly the management is not in the least bit friendly. We will not be returning again … there is no comparison to this place with even street food in Manila
They need improvement!!!. First, the people in the counter were so mean ,they look freaking mad all the time,especially the guy there,i think is the owner….the serving is small and the price is expensive!!!
Aint Going Back There.. Better to go to McDonalds than this place. Turo Turo dishes are few days old. They will serve you the oldest meat first so be careful, It will taste like a brick. Kare Kare is different price. Watch Out!!!Also make sure you get your Credit Card after paying, If they noticed you forgot they will not remind you. Overall 2/10. Oh… the Halo-Halo was pretty good. there yah go.
Unfriendly proprietors and average tasting food is the reason I will not go back to Pampanguea Cafe. After having eaten here several times, I found out that the quality of their food is not consistent. I have always ordered the same thing which is why I know. I always order kare-kare and sometimes the meat is tender and sometimes it’s as hard as rubber. The unsmiling and unfriendly owners is also another reason for not returning. The impression I get when I am served by them is that it is such a burden for them to be serving their customers. This is especially true if you don’t speak Kapangpangan. We drive a long way just to eat here and the least I expect is pleasant service. Also the place is dark and not very clean.
