  Their Food Sucks! They Cheapened Everything So You Don’t Recognize the Dish. Palabok, Sinigang, Sisig, Lumpia and everything else. Why don’t we see a lot of successful Filipino restaurant? Because, they cheapen everything and cut back on all the main ingredients to the point where the food is unrecognizable and flavorless. I grew up in Pampanga with a big family who actually knows how to cook. This is not is not the food I grew up with. It’s horrible. I can cook but sometimes I don’t feel like making everything from scratch because of my busy schedule so I’ve been going here since the beginning. As an advocate for small businesses I’ve seen the decline of this restaurant. They charge you more for less food. I don’t get that. Plus, I’ve also noticed that they keep cutting back on ingredients and the food is getting smaller and smaller. They tell you that your order comes with soup but they barely give you any soup. And even if they do after you ask for it they’ll only give you one even if you order 4 meals for 4 people. This place is screwed up. They don’t know how to price their food properly. They don’t give you the right portion and they don’t cook it right. I have a feeling this place is going to be a gonner just like so many other Filipino restaurants that have failed. I would pay more for amazing foods, and great service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.Adios Pampanguena Cafe. I’ve spent way too much money and have given you many opportunities to make it right but I think the biggest problem is the mentality that you don’t have to make it taste good you just have to sell to make money. Horrible service too.

  Bad Service, Bad Food, Bad Place. This restaurant is listed as closed, it is not closed! It is still open serving up the seriously bad customer service and food. We ate there yesterday, December 29′ 2012 , and the older gentleman and lady were working behind the counter were bitter, rude and mean. We actually apologized to our Filipino guests (visiting from the Philippines). We have been going here for years, putting up with the same rude service hoping that things would improve, but to no avail. The food is subpar, the prices are higher than good quality Philippine restaurants, which this place is not, and customers are not welcome here. The Philippine community needs to take exception to this restaurant and tell everyone you know to stay away from this place. Our relatives from the Phillipines went through great lengths to get a VISA to visit the States, they don’t need to be subjected to the stupidity and ridicule of the staff from this dump they call a restaurant. Judging by the numerous other poor reviews this restaurant has received (google search them) I can understand why they want the review sites to think they are permanently closed. I guess it,s up to the community to close them down for real by not patronizing them. Of course, if all else fails, we could just buy the building and evict them.
