Two thumbs…down. It has an appearance of a fancy high quality restaurant but the only thing high quality was the white wine. if we didnt have a buzz going we would have hated the place. some of the sushi was put in my pocket and flushed down the toilet in the bathroom. just saying
Omg hoooorible!!! Hate to say that bc I’ve been going for years and loving it but I won’t be going back…ever. When you spend a good bit on sushi rolls ($17) you at least expect it to be fresh and flavorful. It was neither and now we are all sick! RUN! Do not walk to another sushi spot
Place has a nice lay out, and nice service. For me it’s always about the food though. Which was just average. Then with the price of the place, I’d say it’s almost a pass for me to go back to.
Excellent Dining Experience. The best sushi I’ve had in Maryland, its on the pricey side but I’m willing to pay a little more for the quality of food here. The fish is always fresh, the rice is well prepared, the traditional rolls and nigiri have large cuts and there’s plenty of non-traditional creative sushi rolls invented by the chef that are a feast for the palate. The entree’s are also delicious. The Chilean Sea Bass, Una Ju, and Orange Roughy are grilled perfectly and melt in your mouth.I have always had good service here, the bartenders are friendly and remember you if you come back and the Sake is top notch. The decor, ambiance and music are all very chic and conducive to a wonderful relaxed dining experience.
The food is average yet it is overpriced. I’ve been there once out of curiousity but never came back.
If you want Great Sushi along with great drinks this is the place. Always great tasting sushi and save room for dessert because that is just as good as the sushi. This is where we go when we want sushi. Its worth the drive from Fairfax, VA.
Too expensive and questionable sanitation. The sushi was average, had better elsewhere at a more reasonable price. Decor, modern to art-deco, dark lighting, small bar, not much room. Questionable sanitation, saw sushi bartender drop something on floor, picked up, and never washed his hands. Left after see that…
