  Not timely; giving up on the place. My experiences at Happy Fortune have all been the same. Decent food, but miserable service; the staff doesn’t seem to be able to tell you when your order will be ready with any degree of accuracy. My earlier experiences are noted below. This past Sunday, I waited at the place for an extra 10 minutes past the pickup time for two small dishes; no one else ordered or picked up while I was there. Whether it’s too small a kitchen (and can only cook one dish at a time) or they’re just bad at estimation, I give up.27 Sep, 2008Good food, once you get it. Happy Fortune is a hole in the wall that makes pretty good take-out. Their curry chicken is excellent and their dumplings are top notch. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. They’ve been in business for a while, but it seems that they aren’t accustomed to the ebbs and flows. If they can iron out the kinks, this would probably be my favorite in the area.Their delivery on a weekend evening was abysmal, taking 90+ minutes (more the double the 30-45 minutes advertised). After a few calls asking where the food was, they agreed to chop a few bucks off the tab and to do a better job next time. The next time I opted to drive over and pick up the food myself, which still took longer than it should have. We arrived there and there were 3 people waiting for their orders. The place was quiet, until our food came up and the phones started ringing incessantly.
