Delicious Italian – Better than restaurants in Italy!. This is my favorite place to eat….every birthday, celebration, anniversary, etc….you will find me here. Chicken Cremosa is wonderful and Zabaglione with Berries is outstanding.Stop reading reviews and go there immediately!!
Great food, bad wait. This is a good restaurant we’ve visited for years, but don’t come here if you have trouble standing on a hard floor for 30 minutes, or if you have any kind of physical ability issue. They get overwhelmed, turnaround is slow and the waiting area is a tiled corridor with no chairs. You will also not be acknowledged, told the waiting time or offered any help.Again, good food, but the service doesn’t begin until you are finally offered a seat. Be sure you are fit enough and patient enough to not be in pain or uninterested by then.
Very nice night out spot. Went here on a first date and while things with the guy may not have worked out I do remember the dinner fondly. We were seated immediately but it’s a very crowded space in the dining area. The waitress was very nice and interacted very well with us. I have a salad and he had some stuffed pasta dish. Both dishes were good but the dessert was the highlight. We had the ricotta cheesecake and it was WONDERFUL! Tasted almost like a lemon pound cake. Anyway, it was good experience overall and I’d go back again.
I live this restaurant te lasgana is great the gnocchis and pizza great. It’s a really nice environment with a homey feel
A MUST TO EAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Please do your self a favor if you are craving some NY STYLE PIZZA and order a pie of your choice. I’ve been living down here in Maryland and there are only two places I thought came very close to home(NY) but I read some of the reviews and decided to give this place a try. Let me tell you I usually don’t eat pizza down here because nothing ever comes close and I’m always disappointed, but they HIT the spot on this. The crust is spot on, crunchy but not burnt and dry. The perfect amount of sauce placed evenly and the toppings i had ( sausage, pepperoni, and pancetta) and of course cheese that made this place our favorite from the first bite. Our next trip we will try more and already know I won’t be disappointed because the you can tell a great Italian place by their crust and sauce and the rest will fall into place. Enjoy folks!! Hope I helped out to pick a place.
Line out the door (for good reason). The outside is dingy, the inside is cramped, the Southern Italian food is equal to or better than just about any of the traditional restaurants in Baltimore’s Little Italy for half the price. Service is sometimes friendly, sometimes merely efficient, but the kitchen cranks out large portions of very good to excellent food pretty quickly. A local institution, and rightly so. The no reservations policy means a wait at peak times, but the line moves quickly enough.
Great food for what looks like a dive. For what looks like a pizza shop in a rundown strip mall the Itialian food was as good as any down town. great service and fantastic fair
