OMG! This restaurant should be on kitchen nightmares! It’s a pool hall with a restaurant on the other side. My husband and I ordered steaks and baked potatoes and they both were awful! Potatoes over were cooked then covered with butter and sour cream to mask it. Everything was bland…don’t waste your time or money.
Wow, has this place crashed. Menu is almost non-existant. We walked in and walked right back out.08 Aug, 2010Great Prime Rib. The best, non-chain, steakhouse in the Fort Meade area. The prime rib is perfect, just the right amount of marbling of the meat. The homemade chili is out of this world. Not to spicy, just right. Has live music on the weekends. Also, they have state run Keno and video Horseracing for those interested in that. Nice, friendly and appreciative staff. ***Update*** 9/15/2010 menu has been cut to almost non-existence. Many of the steaks and other seafood items removed from menu or selection size reduced. BIG disappointment was the loss of the chili. Also free mini-bread loaf with meal has been cut out. I forsee this restaurant being closed by the end of the year. Besides the bar patrons (and there where only 4 of them), we were the only people there.
It used to be good a few years back. What happened?
Always good. Anytime you can walk into a place and know that you are going to get a good meal, good service and fair prices, you are doing well. Terrie and her staff have done a great job in keeping the quality and service first rate. The food is always good.The only time that there was even a question was when power was knocked out to most of the area and they had about 10 times the normal business, and even then, you could see the pride and effort that went into taking care of the customers. The owner and her family were literally running between customers to get everyone taken care of, and even then, the service was top notch. I have taken friends and business associates to Sullivan’s and without fail, they have always been impressed. In fact, whenever they return to the area, Sullivan’s is somewhere that they really want to visit.The prime rib sandwich is a great deal, the baked potatoes are a meal in themselves, and the relaxed, comfortable atmosphere If you are looking for fancy tablecloths, fine china and crystal, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a relaxed place with good food, Sullivan’s is a good choice.
Oh how far this place has fallen. A shell of it’s former self. Mr Sullivan, I’m sorry what the new owners have done to your restaurant. I did get to enjoy a piece of cardboard with cheese. It was so awesome, they asked me if I wanted the remaining portion (all but the first bite) to go. I suggested a proper burial.
