Their shrimp salad, mozzarella cheeses sticks and fried cheesecake are great! They really should post a menu online and their waitresses are not always the most welcoming but the food is affordable and tasty.
Get there early. I’ve enjoyed Monaghan’s Pub for the last 15 years. It’s a wonderful place to grab a bite with coworkers. The service is reliable and the food always tastes great. And a good selection of beers on tap is much appreciated. Keep up the good work!
Jimmy Rocks!!. Jimmy, the Chef Extrodinaire at Monaghan’s, can not be beat for great food and a warm welcome! Yes, it is bar food, but soooo good. His seafood specials cannot be passed up either. I do have to disagree with the earlier post regarding the early closing. Monaghan’s is open for dinner to about 8 PM. More than enough time for a perfectly cooked burger and a cold beer.

Excellent. Nice pub type atmosphere. The crab cake is good but doesn’t compare to a few others in Bmore. The shrimp salad is to die for. Also a big fan of the pulled pork and tuna. Reasonable prices for what you get as well. Lunch is best since the neighborhood is not the best.
Lunch Time oasis. I stumbled on this bar about 5 years ago. What a find! The neighborhood is a little dicey, but this place is an oasis, lots of parking in the rear. Great food. Great specials. The crab cake is great. Fresh home made slaw and fries. The pulled pork is a winner. Good choice of beers on tap. Keno! They close kind of early so Lunch is your best bet.
