Hit and Miss. My husband, son and I had dinner here last night…the space is very nicely decorated and the servers were are very nice and attentive. The dinner plates are beautiful but HUGE and took too much space on the table. We ordered quite a few appetizers and a few entrees: the chickey satay was made with big chunks of very nicely cooked chicken but there was no cool cucumber on the side and the sauce was a very bland version of peanut sauce. It appeard there were only two sauce options (neither one was good) – sweet & sour or that creamy bland peanutty sauce. I definitely got the sense that much of the food was NOT made from scratch and was rather bland. The beef with asparagus entree and the coconut shirmp were both quite good. If this restaurant would make it’s own sauces with some spice to them and would lightly coat their chicken for the entrees, it could be much better.
Love this place. The people there know our name and treat us like family. I have been going to this restaurant for the last two years. The chicken fried rice is my favorite. They have great specials and enjoy eating there sushi. Every time we order sushi the arrangement is beautiful.
