Yuck! Ordered fish and chips and got small piece of baked tilapia (flavorless) and barely cooked fries. Never got the check after requesting it, had to go to register and tell her my order. Not returning.
My office is down the street from Frank’s diner..I have been a customer since they opened. The food and service are exceptional. I have many favorite dishes but the porkchops stand out as well as the meatloaf and home made desserts!
Ooof, this place has gone down hill over last few years. The service has gone down much more than the food but wont be back.
Just avoid this place. You can make better food at home with little effort. Nothing special about anything here.
Bad bad bad. There was nothing redeeming about this place. The food was bad (VERY bad). The potatoes tasted like cardboard, the chili in my omelette was obviously out of a can, the biscuit was obviously undercooked, they served margarine instead of butter. On top of that the service was SO SLOW. Would go 15-20 minutes at a time without seeing the waitress even come out of the back room. Eventually had to pull another waitress aside to get checked out.
NEVER AGAIN. My friend and I have eaten here before, the service was slow but the food was good. Anyway we went there this past Sunday They were a little busy (about 50% full) We walk in never acknowledged until we asked to sit ourselves. A very elderly lady said she would be right with us. After 20 minutes of standing there She comes over doesn’t say a word to us and starts checking people out We are STILL standing there Some other waitress came over to seat us She goes to sit us at a dirty table We finally get seated We order 45 minutes later still no food People that came in after us got their food WE LEFT!!! Went to Arby’s got our food and seat in about 5 min. We wasted about 1.5 HOURS at Franks. Never again Who manages this place? He/she needs to find other employment.
Country fried steak breakfast. Had this a while back and it was great. Tried a chicken burger for lunch not so great. Lesson learned always stick to breakfast in diner’s like this.
