This tourist went for a meal after some window shopping. A relative living in Maryland suggested this Chinese diner dubbed as Ichiban Cafe. You will definitely notice the old asian lady at the counter. I can understand her loud voice since I am Asian myself. No, I am not from China. Although owners of Chinese hole in the wall eats do tend to be loud and cranky. Its just the way they talk. They still give you the thank you once you receive your take out or when youre done with your meal there. I let it slide. Youre always safe with the Chinese dishes. They tend to be oily but its how Chinese wok dishes are prepared. Meals are cooked quickly under high heat with sesame oil but the freshness of the meat and veggies remain. General Tsos and Beef with Broccoli came out just right. Not sure about the ramen and poke bowls. Definitely not Chinese dishes so I wouldnt take chances.
