Not as great as the hype. Good tacos, but remember to say if you want cheese or sour cream because they don’t come with it. The chile relleno is just ok too, possibly burnt. Why can’t the east coast get Mexican right like the west coast?
Live in Alexandria so only way I am coming here was on say to balto or bwi and so today it was the later. Boy it was worth it. Extremely small so you’ll need to eat takeaway most likely. Wide variety of specials and godd reg menu. Tamales in a nice sauce which had some heat were best I’ve had outside Texas. Finished with some duck enchilada which had a really Nice mole sauce that had a little cinnamon. Amazing this is sticking out of a gas station. And only two exits south of bwi on parkway.
First time today. And OMG, I had three tacos and ready for more! So good…. I def recommend this place. It’s connected to shell station at rt. 1 and 175
This place has the best chorizzo taco I have ever eaten. The only issue is if you don’t speak Spanish it’s hard to order something nw from menu which you would want to try. Very clean kitchen and fantastic tasting food. No room to eat and dine at location but perfectt take out food and appropriately priced
Got completely turned around but with a phone call discovered it in the Shell gas station. Place packed. Food fantastic. Staff very helpful. New place to stop on way home from DC
