Just OK. Ambiance was nice, but the food was just OK. The vegetable soup tasted the same as canned soup, the salad had a good flavor though. We had the izgara kofte and the chicken sis kabob, which were OK, but mostly just had a meaty flavor. If you like to taste just the meat, then it seemed like decent food, but we are used to a bit more spice from Turkish/Mediterranean food.
Great Place for a Good Meal. I have eaten at Rudy’s many times and have never been disappointed by the food.The staff is attentive and the food is fantastic. It appears that all of the Turkish dishes are freshly prepared and are a great change from many restaurants I have had breakfast, lunch and dinners there. For the breakfast I would recommend the pancakes and home fries. The only issue I have is that it is a substantial portion. The donor sandwiches are great and the fries are fantastic. My dinner choices tend to rotate among the different Turkish meals and I have never been disappointed. For dessert I love the Baklava. Home made and very enjoyable.05 May, 2012I eat there about once a week and never been disappointed. the food is fantastic and the people are a delight to talk to. The kunefe for dessert is to die for. My only complaint is that other restaurants I go to are no longer enjoyable both in terms of taste and atmosphere.
Lovely place. Great atmosphere. We both ordered lamb and it was cooked perfectly. The cake cooler is a dream for anyone with a sweet tooth. Customer service was excellent, very friendly staff. We will definitely return.
This restaurant was good but not great. The dolmas and salad dressing lacked seasoning and the portion sizes were small for the cost of the meal. The food came quickly and was decent but not spectacular. If you’re in the area and in a hurry its a good place to stop but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.
We really enjoy Rudy’s. The food is excellent and Rudy is very special. The menu provides a great amount of variety and the lamb is awesome. Rudy’s is very friendly to special needs people. We have a daughter with Autism and the restaurant is always welcoming and happy to see us.
Great place. Authentic Med food, nicely furnished and Rudy is just a bonus. He cares about his food, his restaurant and most importantly his customers! I will definitely be back when I’m in town.
Fun Place. While it’s not quite a ‘diner’ it does have breakfast all the time and lets you just hang out. Staff is accommodating and friendly; Greek specialties are pretty good, too.
