(10/21/2016) Yeah, we went there, couldn’t help ourselves. Not sure if the outbreak of hepatitis A associated with frozen strawberries imported from Egypt is over yet, but we went there. Had to see what all the fuss was about. It’s a perfectly fine smoothie place, but I’m not a huge frequenter of smoothie places. Got the Blimey Limey (strawberries, pineapples, orange juice, lime juice). It was a very tasty mix, and it was a ginormous cup (24 oz.), kind of way unnecessarily large cup, with probably way too much sugar than is good for me, 97 grams to be exact, according to their website (2-4 times the recommended daily amount). I’m not going to be a smoothie convert, in general, but it was a perfectly fine frozen treat for a warm Indian summer day, just not deluding myself that it’s actually healthy, especially not if there’s still hep A in it.
