Excellent Italian Food!. By far this is the best Italian food I have ever had. Every dish is made with quality! I go back monthly, and it is consistently very good! The quality, service, and ambiance is excellent. You get the home and local feel with a touch of class! Their interior is contemporary and very comfortable. They are equally great with food and service! This is a must to try at least once!
Don’t bother. Went last night with two other couples. The wait was long, as there are only a few tables for six, when finally seated, a group of ladies at a birthday dinner made it so noisy we couldn’t hear ourselves talk. The wait staff argued with us when my friends said they wanted salad dressing on the side, and it came with it on. The food was wayyy over salted and was so boring. I got shrimp with broccoli, and both were almost inedible. They did take some off the check, but we will not be back. Awful food and awful service. So sorry, because it is a beautiful place inside.
Over-rated and horrible service. Finally ate here after hearing all the hype. Very disappointed. The staff was very aloof. The hostess was rude. She walked well ahead of us and plopped the menus on the table and left before we reached the table. Our waiter was quite annoying and felt compelled to interject himself into our conversation. We ordered appetizers and and entrees. After a long wait, the entrees finally came out. We never received our appetizers. Our waiter never bothered to check on our table and took forever to bring our drinks. He spent forever apologizing but never offered anything to make things right. Then he disappeared again and finally asked if we wanted dessert–he disappeared again and we finally had to flag down another waiter to get dessert menues. He again apologized and came up with generic excuses. The service was so annoying that I don’t even remember the food very well. The food was quite generic and no different than any other chain itialian restaurant. Very unmemorable experience. I would rather eat at Bertuccis which has much better pizza and is much cheaper.
VERY good. This little gem is tucked away in a strip mall in North Laurel. They are a bit expensive, but the food is unbelievable! And, they have Happy Hour everyday from 3-6pm…half price appetizers. They are big portions and enough for dinners…go and enjoy the food and great service. And the owners are always there and want to talk to everyone and get feedback.
Terrible Customer Service. I called the restaurant to see what the wait was and was told 10-15 minutes. I live across the street and asked if they have call-ahead seating. I was told no. 4 minutes later when I arrived the wait had gone to 25-30 minutes. While standing at the door I overheard one of the hostesses talking on the phone and then wrote down someone’s name on the waiting list. I immediately questioned the hostess and she told me that she didn’t do what she just had done. I pressed her and she said one of the managers was on the phone and told her to put the person’s name on the list. I was extremely upset at this since the hostess was now arguing with me over their no call-ahead seating policy and just did it for someone.I asked to speak to a manager and eventually someone who claimed to be the owner came over and told me that they were wrong and should not have put the person’s name on the list without them being there.I highly doubt this is the first time this has happened since I have observed poor customer service from the hostesses station before, I just haven’t ever said anything and even after saying something I do not feel that the situation was handled well.This is not just a problem of hiring young girls to staff the hostess station who have zero customer relations, this stems from a top down management disregard for the customer.There is choice of where to spend my money — I choose to go to a restaurant that is not duplicitous and treats customers with respect. I will eat elsewhere.
This is my fiance and I’s favorite place to eat. The food is amazing, the ambiance is relaxing and fresh, and the wine selection is great! Definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a great italian dinner!
Lisa Passalaqua. We went there for my daughters graduation with my 84 year old Italian mother who speaks no English. She is so picky we hate taking her out. She LOVED Lisa , and loved the restaurant .. She LOVED the food. But at the end of the meal she said the food is good but without that beautiful smile, and friendly Lisa the place would be NOTHING. My mom is very wise . After all she has been on this earth for 84 years and is Italian born near Naples. She knows her stuff when it comes to food and and hospitality. So There to Lisa LOVE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!
