Attman’s is the best deli in the Maryland suburbs. Pretty much everything you’d want from a classic deli, Attman’s isn’t quite as good as DGS downtown but it’s very, very good. Great corned beef, good pastrami, great omelettes, friendly service, it beats the heck of the Celebrity Deli it replaced. Nothing you wouldn’t expect from a deli, either. Haven’t tried their desserts but they look great.
Deli finally. Great Deli meats, especially the Pastrami. DC area finally has some real deli. Enjoy take out or eat in – I hope they continue to exist as opposed to all of the others who have for all intents and purposes deceased.
Attman’s-Potomac. A really great place for breakfast or lunch. Absolutely the best Deli in DC — the restaurant evokes the spirit of Baltimore in an unlikely place (Potomac). Lox, Eggs & Onions are a fantastic breakfast/brunch choice. Chopped liver is wonderful. Take home a loaf of their spectacular rye bread.
Attentive Staff and lots of great pickles with meal. Three of us treated our selves to very good lean sandwich’s of corn beef and pastrami. I enjoyed the unusual French fries which had an odd color but were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The bread was very fresh for our three sandwich entrees and were offered all the pickles that we wanted. I would not come here over the lunch hour to discuss business unless you sit outside as it was VERY noisy in the back dining room. Portions were very generous. Much more upscale than the Baltimore location for the same price. A good place to get your kosher fix.
Hard to beat!. For breakfast, lunch, or dinner they are hard to beat. Great food and friendly service at fair prices!
Best deli in the state of Maryland, period. It may be a little pricey, but the size and quality makeIt worth every penny.
Good food–family atmosphere. The sandwiches can be pricey–however you get what you pay for. The quality of the food is fresh and delicious and every last member of the staff is a joy to talk to! I work near Attman’s and go for breakfast–amazing breakfast sandwiches and lunch on a regular basis. If only there was a DC location!
