This is by far one of the best hidden gems in Silver Spring. I am now convinced that I need to travel to the city to get Greek food! I had a catered lunch with some of Big Greek Cafe’s favorite entrees, and I was hooked! To start, I had the salad with fresh olives and tzatziki, which was crisp and refreshing (bonus points for the extra olives). I had some falafel, which I could tell was made to order with fresh ingredients. The taste beat other falafel I’ve had in the city so far, and it made me want to come back for more! The pita was grilled with butter/oil, making it perfect to eat with the baba ghanoush (which wasn’t too bad). I tried a little bit of all the vegetarian dishes, and I was stuffed! The gyros and chicken looked fantastic, so I’m curious to see how they would taste as well. Hands down, this was one of the best lunches I’ve had since moving to the area!

I ordered 2 platters one with shrimp, the other was lamb. The put them both intol sandwichs when I made a point of asking for the platter. The bread was soggy and inedible by the time I got home. I hate soggy bread. There only 2 shrimp to be found, the rest was filler.
