Came across walking down street from my hotel while visiting . The food is simple fresh and delicious. Place feels homey, like little has changed in the last 20 yrs- and I mean this as a positive. Overheard people saying they have been coming there since they were kids. I’ll come back to this restaurant when back on business

Absolutely No Flavor. Let’s start with the lack of personality with the server and add the absolutely no flavor to the food. Will never go back!
If I could marry this place I would. Hands down some of the best seafood I have ever eaten.
Terrible Service for Carryout. Ordered (2) entrees by phone, they never submitted the order when we arrived for pickup 20 minutes later as instructed. We waited while they submitted to the cook, and 25 minutes later they hadn’t given us a second glance – no rush order or any indication of a positive gesture. When asked how much longer – blank look. We left after spending an hour driving there, back, and waiting. Food not worth it – would have been $60 for two entrees. Skip it and go elsewhere.
I Crave The Special. I learned about Crisfield’s from a coworker who grew up in Silver Spring. The first time I went, I got the Crisfield Special, which is some sort of creamy baked crabmeat au gratin. I don’t know if anyone else makes anything like it, but I find that I am drawn back there every time I return to the DC area. The restaurant feels like a throwback to the 40 or 50 years ago, and the service is extremely friendly and professional. I often go out of my way to get over to the DC/Maryland border on Georgia Ave., but it’s completely worth it.
This place is consistently good- both food and service. Fish is always fresh and tastey. Try the crab fingers! And of course, their shrimp and clam chowder.
