Very nice people. I’m first time diner and new to cuisine. I tried their recommendation of veggie platter and they brought me a sample of the meats. Best lamb I’ve ever eaten!!! Fabulous experience.
Original. Langano, let’s face it, is not much to look at. But following the basically clue that every foreigner eater should, it was easy to determine that Langano was an authentic place : it was full of Ethiopians. I stuffed myself with my family there recently and was amazed at the favors, from vegetarian to meat Langano made it all tasty. Even my toddler enjoyed eating the food which was not too spicy. We will be back for sure.
Been to a lot of ethiopian restaurants in DC specially U street as well as one on new hampshire, takoma park. langano by far has the biggest space, more quantity food, good music and has a jazz band stage with good overhead speakers. food is good like others nothing above and extra ordinary than the others ive been to. i highly recommend it and to those who are near silver spring it definitely is a better one to go to. oh its much cheaper by the way. sure cant beat cheap.
