Best Hibachi in DC. This was the best hibachi place I’ve experienced in the DC area. First, the atmosphere is outstanding. It’s very contemporary and does not feel stuffy or crowded. There are hibachi grills, a sushi bar, a normal bar, and normal booths and tables. Second, the service was amazing. I sat at a hibachi grill and the waiter checked-in several times to see if anyone needed anything–really great (happy hour drink prices are great too). Also, when we asked the chef for things that he either didn’t understand or wasn’t able to resolve himself, he would immediate grab a manager or waiter, who would take care of the problem. Their system of service is quite amazing. Last, it’s the best hibachi food I’ve had in this region. The white sauce is amazing (much better than Benihana). The filet and chicken were great, rice was great (you get noodles and fried rice for no extra charge). I have nothing bad to say about this place and I’ll be back!
Pricey But Worth It. Everything we had was delicious! Fans of sushi, seafood and Japanese cooking will find much to enjoy. The crispy duck rolls and special sushi rolls are worth a visit.
