Great for breakfast and brunch. We’re a big fan of the Latkes, Lox, and Eggs. They open at 7 on the weekends, and don’t get too busy before about 8:30, so it’s great for early birds.

Tasty but some of that attributable to too heavy-handed on salt. True of MB soup and kasha varnishkes (and bowtie pasta way overcooked). Wish I’d known about pickle bar; wait staff didn’t advise us and my daughter loves pickles. Also, otherwise family-friendly place like this needs children’s menu. More than half my girls’ dinners went to waste (we’re visiting DC and staying in a hotel).
Try the Delight with fries
One of the best chicken soups in town! It’s like moms! Definitely a homemade taste.
Not Kosher. This is not a kosher restaurant, and not even kosher-style
Parkway is a staple for us every weekend. How can you say no when they have a pickle bar? Typical deli/diner fare so there’s nothing fancy and nothing too expensive. If you’re there in the morning, try the French toast (better than B&E’s in NoVa) and the hash browns (best in the area). The Matzahball soup is excellent as well.
