  Bad Manager, service and food quality. I been going to Reb Lobster since 2006 and I have never had a bad experience until tonight. Tonight was by far the worst visit to the Silver Spring, MD Red Lobster restaurant. It was just two people and it took forever to get service. We wait at least 10 minutes to be greeted by our server and then 10 minutes to get our sodas and biscuits. My girlfriend and I made it simple on the serve and already knew what we wanted to eat and we places our orders. 15 minutes later we finally received our Cesars salad, but it was not a Cesars salad. It was a house salad with the Cesars dressing. Another 20 minutes later we get our entrees. My girlfriend ordered shrimp linguini alfredo and I ordered a Cajun Chicken linguini alfredo. The Alfredo sauce was a thick wallpaper paste consistency and way too salty. Anyone with taste buds could clearly see and taste that the sauce had been over cooked and reheated over room temperature pasta. It was completely uneatable. It was like the kitchen had the alfredo sauce reheated and reheated and after a while sauce had become a super mega salty.We had to ask for our server because he was not around at all. Finally he showed up and he barely apologized for our food. He took the pasta away and didnt offer a menu or an alternative, if it was up to him we wouldnt have eaten at all! We had to ask him for the menu to be able to order something else because the alfredo sauce was too salty. We ordered the lobster pizza and that too was a greasy mess. The lobster was like overcooked rubber bands! It wasnt worth complaining again because it was obvious they were putting out disgusting food. We requested the manager of the location. When the manager, Mike, arrived at our table it was so bizarre. He showed up like he was at a BBQ with some friends. He didnt present himself like a manager, he leaned over the booth we were seated at really in an unprofessional way that I never saw in a professional restaurant before. When we explained what happened he offered no solution, but rather stated that they wouldnt Charge us for the pasta…its off the bill which was ridiculous as we clearly did not eat it and had it sent back. He went on to say that the kitchen had no romaine lettuce so they were using the house salad for the Cesar salad…. You think they would have sense to inform the guests!!! The worst of it all was that he went on to say that the alfredo sauce has tons of salt This is the manager stating this!!!! I have no words to begin to express how unprofessional and idiotic the entire experience was. Save yourself the heartache and headache and dont bother going to the Red Lobster in 8533 Georgia Ave. Silver Springs, MD 20910, its clear they have no interest in customer service or quality food.

  Lousy, Horrible, Crowded, Slow. Service was exceptionally slow, part of order forgotten, 40 minutes to get our drinks and only after I went to bar to ask, Mahi Mahi was ruined by overcooking.I wll never grace their premises with my presence again!

  Great service, but the food was average. I ordered the king crab legs which were not upto my stabdards. I like the crabmeat to come out whole but instead I had to dig out pieces with my fork. This happens if the crab legs get too cold. 2 1/2 strs out of 5.
