I’ve lived in downtown silver spring for 20 years and have seen Chinese restaurants come and go, and the quality of their food ebb and flow. spring garden is my current favorite. moo shu pork or veg, egg foo young, general tso’s, steamed dumplings, spring rolls, the steamed rice have all been very tasty! they could use a heavier hand with seasonings (garlic, ginger, heat) do ask for it if you want your food kicked up a tad. the Kung pao chicken was super lame. otherwise, I’ve been really pleased so far.
