Deep-Fried Fish Doesn’t Get Better!. I’m not a fish expert, but I can tell when it’s the best deep-fried fish I’ve ever had. You pick which fresh fish to fry. I asked the helpful guy behind the counter for a recommendation. I don’t know what kind of white fish fillet it was, but it was so crisp, fresh with a light salting and cheap. Eat it right away before it gets soggy.
