  Good sandwiches, rude, inattentive service. Over the past two or three weeks, I’ve ordered Jimmy Johns delivery five times. Although the food has tasted great, they messed up my order four of those five times. These haven’t been minor screw-ups, like they forgot the lettuce, but totally incorrect orders. Today, the order (my boss’s) was wrong again. I called the location and they asked me to package up the wrong sandwich and send it back with the driver who would bring the correct one. The second sandwich came. It was wrong as well. I sent it back with the driver (very nice guy) for one more try. He came back up a few minutes later and said his manager, Lou, had refused to send another sandwich. We could either keep it or not, our choice. Needless-to-say, I was pretty surprised. Rather than calling him and battling it out, I decided to call the corporate office and have them sort it out.

  I get it, the food is fast and I should have ordered online before I walked in the door, but really…. Nothing warm to eat in a cold day. That was unexpected for my first visit. Clean place with friendly staff.

  Jimmy Johns. The sandwich business already has tons of competition: Subway, Quiznos, Potbelly, where to go?! Bethesda? College Park? Rockville? The business has exploded! But of all the sandwich restaurants, I would recommend Jimmy Johns. Jimmy Johns has delicious food to pair with a perfect ambiance and its versatility.Lets get down to business: the food. Jimmy Johns serves incredible sandwiches (at least the ones I have tried)! I would recommend the Turkey Tom and the J.J.B.L.T. The Turkey Tom tastes amazing! It has a mildly delicious flavor with the zing of just the right amount of mayo so it seems to melt in your mouth. This sandwich definitely didnt lack flavor, and so far its my favorite sandwich. It includes sliced turkey breast, lettuce, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, and mayo. I truly am not a fan of alfalfa, but still this sandwich has made it in my book. All the fresh ingredients complement each other perfectly, especially with the freshly baked bread. The next sandwich I recommend is the J.J.B.L.T. The first time I tried this sandwich I almost died. It felt like a savory flavor bomb exploded in my mouth, and I found it so deliciously amazing I gobbled it down in no time! It has lettuce, tomato, bacon, and mayo all layered between their freshly made French bread. The sandwich was flawlessly drenched with just the right amount of mayo to make it a true B.L.T. The next time I went to Jimmy Johns, I ordered the J.J.B.L.T again, remembering my past love affair with the same sandwich. But that time I received a disappointingly dry sandwich. It just lacked mayo. I was heartbroken! But I took it back up to the order desk and asked them to add some more mayo. They took my sandwich, apologized, and returned it to me after a few minutes. It tasted just as good as the first time. Take a risk with this sandwich, because you might end up with the perfect B.L.T, or you may end up with a sad, little, dry sandwich (that can be fixed).Jimmy Johns also has the perfect atmosphere for eating one of its sandwiches. It looks almost like it jumped out of the 50s! The restaurant also has a scrumptious aroma that will make your mouth water! The air is mingling with the smell of freshly baked bread with a hint of ingredients that you would find in a sandwich, such as freshly sliced lettuce, juicy tomato, succulent bacon/ham, and savory mayo. Jimmy Johns also has hilarious dcor! The walls have humorous quotes and posters that will brighten up almost anyones day. Most places even have a huge seal on the wall that says, Mama approved.Jimmy Johns is also very versatile. First, they have so many different ways to order one of their sandwiches. You can order one from their website, one from their store (by calling and placing an order), or by just going to the store and waiting. The sandwiches dont take too long to make and the delivery time depends on how far away you are from the restaurant. Jimmy Johns also caters and sells lunches (boxed lunches). They also have reasonable prices. In addition the restaurant has a vegetarian sandwich and if youre watching you weight, a low carb option by replacing the bread with lettuce leaves while the inside stays the same. Jimmy Johns is just so easy, delicious, and convenient! Remember, YOUR MOM WANTS YOU TO EAT AT JIMMY JOHNS!
