Special treat in the heart of lousy College Park foodland. Ten Ren shines among one of the few restaurants that are good and interesting to the palate in college park. It offers all kinds of tea and specializes in great bubble (bobba) tea. The food is equally good, but I am biased since I love green tea noodles and Taro buns.Located at walking distance from the University of Maryland, Ten Ren makes it easy to escape lousy, microwavable dormitory Ramen. YUM!
Delicious Tea!. We stopped by and enjoyed this little cafe. My wife had the Szechuan chicken – she said the sauce was more sweet than spicy, but it was hot enough for me! She adored the won ton soup and the ginger tea. I had chicken nuggets – no extruded, processed meat here! The nuggets were very good – lightly fried. I also had the green tea noodles with meat sauce. Very nice, not spicy, but comforting. The ginger tea is awesome!
