This is my first experience at the Hazlewood Inn. The food was pretty good and my waitress was okay. I never write reviews but the Manager is rude and unprofessional, I’m trying to be fair and give an accurate account of my Hazlewood Inn experience. I felt compelled to write a review to let other patrons know what I experienced.

This was my first visit here and it left a lot to be desired. First, the Peach Sangria was warm and lackluster. The grilled lamb chops also left a bad taste on my palate. IMO, lamb is a delicate meat, so the seasoning should not overpower the taste of the meat. Also, the crab cakes had too much filling. And for the prices of $23 for the chops and $25 for two crab cakes, it just didn’t seem like I got my money worth. The service was great and the atmosphere was cool. But overall, I’m really not impressed, so don’t bother.
Incredible. The atmosphere is nice and the food is outstanding. You have got to try the crab cakes. These are the best I have ever eaten and are full crab lump! The grilled broccoli was superb. The wait staff was friendly and eager to serve us. Try it once and you will be back.
Me likey. My daughter and I enjoy a good crabcake. We kept hearing about the Hazelwood Inn’s crabcakes so we decided to go there for lunch today. We loved the atmosphere and our waitress was very accomodating and helpful. The best part of all was the excellent crabcakes!!! To top it off the rice pudding was delicious. They will be seeing us again soon. Thanks for an enjoyable lunch.
Disgusted Customer. I have been to the Hazelwood Inn a few times. The mgr that runs this place is horrible and rude. We waited this time over an hour for our food. We had to ask for our food and then asked for the mgr. Her response was that they were busy and smirked. It is not the customers fault that they are busy. At least inform the customer. At least apologize and say that the food is on its way. They knew we were upset and stamped a gratuity stamp on the bill which they have never done of 18%. Once we finally got our food it came without our sides. We had to go to the front and ask for them. The mgr got an attitude with us when we mentioned that. I have never experienced a mgr such as her. I refuse to ever go back to this place. If you go plan on waiting a very long time, an expensive menu and a manager that needs to be fired. She treats people very badly.
Best crabcakes in Baltimore!. Have been going to this place for years and I get the same thing every time. The crabcakes are huge, all lump crabmeat and hardly any breading. I’ve always gone with a large group and have had great service each time.
