Customer Service. Food really good. Customer service not that good. They see you standing there and they pretend they don’t see you. It happened more than a few times.They need to improve that.
Good Bages Dirty Cafe. Great tasting bagels but it would be nice to see someone actually clean a table or counter and use some cleaning suppliers other then a dirty rag.
Bummed. Okay, affordable lunch for a non-profit secretary is kinda important. So Eversave came out and I bought two! But the one today wasn’t accepted.So, I might come back eventually, after I pick of all the other lunch options are exhausted in the Owings Mills area. In other news, the Sal’s rare roast beef was delish on a toasted kaiser roll.
On the fence. So went there today for lunch, as we had an Eversave coupon (we were the first ones to attempt using it). They totally wouldn’t honor the coupon, said they didn’t authorize it. Oh well.. anyways.. onto the service. Wow, service was so-so at best and it wasn’t even crowded. I mean they were polite, just took forever to start preparing our food. I ordered the Turkey Cheddar Melt on Egg Bagel. It was ok, bagel was kinda old and it was only 1115am. She got the Sal’s Rare Roast Beef. That was very good and just the right amount of Horseradish. Oh they also forgot our drinks, so we had to wait a few minutes for that.All in all it wasn’t that bad, I’d go back and eat there again. I do wish the owner would have come out to explain about the coupon. Instead of standing in the kitchen complaining about it.
Bagels. This location has fresh hand rolled bagels, and lightly whipped cream cheeses. If she doesn’t have your favorite type of bagel left its because they have sold out and you need to show up earlier. She also does lox well. The location is great for take-out bagels. I believe the location is well over due for a remodel. They named the estabilishment for her daughter Courtney. This is the best bagel place in the area.
